We are a support group which was launched in 2008 for people in the North of London and Barnet area who are affected by Bipolar Affective Disorder/ Manic Depression. The group has in excess of 150 members and an average of 10-15 members including newcomers usually attend each meeting. The group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month for two hours, with speakers in the first half of the meeting followed by a tea break, then sharing comments/thoughts round the room in the second half. The group is open to anyone affected by bipolar; this includes partners, friends, family members and informal carers. We cover Barnet, Enfield and Haringey – although you are welcome to join if you are from another area. We are a friendly crew and you are welcome too. We know that many people find attending a group extremely helpful. We ask for a small donation to cover room hire and drinks/snacks; new members don’t have to pay at their first meeting. . Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at our next meeting.
We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
The next meeting is on Wednesday 18th March 2020 at 7.30pm.
